The `else` block does contain a comment to explain what situation we're
in when the `if` condition is false. I like that construct, but
golangci-lint did not.
No functional changes.
Fix most linter warnings reported by 'staticcheck'. This doesn't fix all
of them, some unused functions are still there, and some generated code
also still triggers some warnings. Most issues are fixed, though.
No functional changes, except for the captialisation of some error
messages.
Introduce an "event bus"-like system. It's more like a fan-out
broadcaster for certain events. Instead of directly sending events to
SocketIO, they are now sent to the broker, which in turn sends it to any
registered "forwarder". Currently there is ony one forwarder, for
SocketIO.
This opens the door for a proper MQTT client that sends the same events
to an MQTT server.
Change the package base name of the Go code, from
`git.blender.org/flamenco` to `projects.blender.org/studio/flamenco`.
The old location, `git.blender.org`, has no longer been use since the
[migration to Gitea][1]. The new package names now reflect the actual
location where Flamenco is hosted.

The task logs storage system is refactored to use the `local_storage`
package. Configuration options have also changed:
- `task_logs_path` is renamed to `local_manager_storage_path`, to
emphasise that only the Manager deals with those files, with default
value `./flamenco-manager-storage`.
- `storage_path` is renamed to `shared_storage_path`, to emphasise this
is the storage shared between Manager and Workers, with default value
`./flamenco-shared-storage`.
Task logs are still stored in
`${local_manager_storage_path}/job-{jobUUID[0:4]}/{jobUUID}/task-{taskUUID}.txt`
Manifest task: T99409
Add a `local_storage` package that finds a suitable place to put files.
Currently it just looks at the location of the currently running
executable; it can later do other things. It can be queried for directory
to put job-specific files.
It is intended to be used by the under-development "last rendered output"
processing system, to store an image file per job. Later we should also
refactor the task log handling system to use this.
In the future different services will write to the task log, and thus
it makes sense to move the responsibility of prepending the timestamps
to the log storage service.
It returns 2048 bytes at most. It'll likely be less than that, as it will
ignore the first bytes until the very first newline (to avoid returning
cut-off lines). If the log file itself is 2048 bytes or smaller, return the
entire file.
The add-on code was copy-pasted from other addons and used the GPL v2
license, whereas by accident the LICENSE text file had the GNU "Affero" GPL
license v3 (instead of regular GPL v3).
This is now all streamlined, and all code is licensed as "GPL v3 or later".
Furthermore, the code comments just show a SPDX License Identifier
instead of an entire license block.
Instead of returning an error "error doing X", just return "doing X". The
fact that it's returned as an error object says enough about that it's
an error.
This also makes it easier to chain error messages, without seeing the
word "error" in every part of the chain.
